THE CREATOR; ISBN 9780473182335; This a5 sized soft covered book by myself Bob Simmonds which contains 66 pages, 22,500 words and the usual array and collection of images is the impression I have been left with after having lived on this planet for 70 odd years. Since I retired I have had the time to get a better grasp on what's going on around me, and have come to the inescapable fact to me anyway, that mankind was indeed created, simply because if we had evolved here we would have evolved as everything else has, and be able to survive without holden's & central heating etc. Having read thus far you bible bangers need not start praising the lord either, as in my opinion he sure as hell did not create us neither.
In this section I have endeavoured to write a synopsis for this book, (THE CREATOR) I have tried to be honest, but truthfully writing about something you have written yourself is rather difficult. Always in the back of your mind is the knowledge or the fact, that if it's under done the book will not sell, but if it is over rated and the buyer is disappointed it won't be long before they will justifiably claim to have been RIPPED OFF and I certainly don't want that to happen. Previously when I was randomly selecting a page or two for the excerpts I could pick out the pages that I felt would better clinch the deal, however now by taking them in sequence while I feel it's more honest it probably is not such a good idea when trying to convince somebody to buy it. NOT EVERY PAGE CAN HAVE THE 'WOW' FACTOR.
This small book is in essence the prosecuting lawyers case in deciding who is to blame for the homo sapiens being put here and subsequently having run amok & almost shagging the only bit of dirt we all have to bloody live on. Was it god as many believe him to be, or was it as some believe, actually aliens ?
Before I go any further I want to clarify that I did not have the definition of fiction & nonfiction mixed up or arse about face when I stated that this book is 90% non-fiction. I can imagine you may think if you are in a charitable frame of mind that I have simply made a typing error. Or on the other hand, if you have decided that I am as mad as a hatter or a march hare, or that I am living in cloud cuckoo land, a place I have suggested that some others are residing in and have concluded that I am also as thick as two short planks I won't hold that against you. However if you disregard the 10% that is written in italics which means I don't believe it either, than take off the say 60% that is non-fiction as defined in the dictionary that leaves 30% that is debateable and if push comes to shove I will argue, that in my opinion it is more right than wrong
